We had an awesome time alongside our friends at Movement at the 2024 Khatsahlano Street Festival on West 4th Avenue!
The sun was out, the music was playing, and the vibes were great. Many of you put a pin in our map showing where places that your bus got stuck in traffic, passed you, or was very late – it painted quite a picture!
The good news is, we’re working on a solution. We’re helping bring a motion to council that will add dedicated bus lanes to 8 priority corridors throughout the city: see all the green lines in the map below:
In 10 hours, we collected over 600 signatures to ask the city to approve these corridors – that’s over 1 signature per minute. We actually ran out of petition sheets twice! Thanks to everyone who volunteered, and everyone who stopped by. It was great getting to meet so many passionate transit lovers, and we hope we can deliver some results for you very soon.
