Here are some of the festivals you can find us at this summer:
Main St Car Free Day: September 13
Join us at Main St Car Free Day on Sunday September 13!
Burnaby Car Free Day: August 29
Come say hi on August 29 between noon to 5pm at Burnaby Car Free Day on Edmonds!
Richmond Garlic Fest: August 15

This was a really cool festival that we learned about for the first time this year. Also our first ever event in Richmond. We’ll definitely be back next year!
Khatsahlano: July 13
We shared a booth with our friends at Movement for this, and it was a blast. People loved our trivia wheel. Did you know that the estimated completion date for the subway to UBC is… NEVER? And that there are 800 car crashes in BC every day? And that the current backlog to complete all sidewalk repairs in Vancouver is… 400 years?! The kids also loved their version of trivia, with questions such as “what’s your favourite bus” and “what colour means go on the traffic light?” We absolutely love the energy at Khats, it’s the best 4th Ave looks all year.

Burnaby Street Fest: July 1
What we love about these events outside Vancouver (Burnaby, Richmond) is that they’re often free for non-profits, and they provide tables and chairs and tents for you. Kudos to Burnaby for putting on a great event. This was very family friendly, with lots of kids and families, and we had some very productive conversations about road safety in their communities. Unfortunately we sort of forgot to take photos!
