Buses, Bicycles, Babies

VZV is excited to be offering a workshop series on getting around the city with little ones, without a private car. Inspired by the experiences of our own members on the pressures to get a car once you have kids, this workshop will walk families through the nuts and bolts of navigating other options – including cycling, public transit and car sharing. Whether you want to drive less, are car free, or are just looking for alternatives because your baby screams in their car seat – this workshop is for you!

The goal of the workshop is for participants to walk away feeling better equipped to cycle or take transit with their child(ren).

Are you interested in bringing this workshop to your family centre, parents group, or program? Fill out the booking form below to let us know! Thanks to generous support from the District of North Vancouver, we are offering this workshop free of charge to programs across the District throughout spring 2026.

Outside the District of North Van? Our primary goal is to make this information accessible to people. We will do what we can to work with your budget if you have an interested group – drop us a line below.

Thank you to the District of North Vancouver for their support for this series!
